32nd Annual Wesak Celebration
at Truc Lam Monastery (11328-97 Street Edmonton, AB)
9:00am-1:00pm
Everyone is welcome to join the International Buddhist Friends Association (IBFA) in the traditional annual celebration of Wesak Day (a day commemorating the birth, enlightenment, and passing of Gautama Buddha).
The morning will consist of Dharma talks, prayers & chanting, flower presentation to the Buddha and the traditional IBFA candlelight blessing ceremony. The event will end with a delicious lunch sponsored by the IBFA and prepared by the Truc Lam Temple.
